The Sakitama Kofun Cluster |
4. Kawarazuka Burial Mound
The Kawarazuka Burial Mound is a 73-meter-long keyhole-shaped kofun that was constructed fourth in the Sakitama Kofun Cluster. It is very similar to the Okunoyama and the Nakanoyama Burial Mounds constructed later.
From the embankment in between the double moat, haniwa shaoed as humans, tools, and animals were found, all dated to the first half of the sixth century.
