5. Shogunyama Burial Mound

The Shogunyama Burial Mound is a 90-meter-long keyhole-shaped kofun that was constructed sixth in the Sakitama Kofun Cluster.

Many funerary objects, such as arms and armor, horse armor and equipment, accessories, mirrors, and kanamari (bronze bowls) were found in the corridor-shaped stone chamber in 1894, by a group of local residents.

They are dated to the second half of the sixth century, and are characterized by their strong connection to the Korean Peninsula.
